Do I need to monitor my security system?
First, we’ll conduct a site survey or review blueprints for new construction to see your needs and expectations. Once the quote is approved, installation is typically scheduled within one week. On installation day, we’ll review the project details with you and, once complete, demonstrate the system to ensure you’re satisfied. We can also provide you with a "soft quote" if you just need to look at the numbers.
We cover both residential and commercial jobs. Give us a call with your needs!
Is this a free quote?
Let us know what project you are working on, and we will be happy to provide a free quote! Give us a call at 352-365-7827 or email info@mystaralarm.com and we can discuss what options you are looking for.
We do! We can also monitor your system without police or fire involvement.

Star Security is located in the heart of Lake County and also covers Marion, Sumter, Citrus and Hernando counties. Give us a call about other areas.
Are you locally owned?
Star Security continues to be a family owned business since its inception in 1992.

In many cases, we can use your existing equipment. It depends on what brand you have, as well as some other factors. Let us know what you have!
We do not require you to monitor your system.
Can I access my security and cameras with my phone?
Yes! You will be able to arm/disarm your system, check your cameras, pull footage and more using your smart phone.
What brands of equipment do you use?
For security, we use the IQ5 and the NEO as our main choices. Camera-wise, we use LTS and InVid.
